11 police officers transferred in J-K

Jammu and Kashmir government has transfered 11 police officers, including 9 IPS officers, in the state.
The Cabinet, which met here under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah last evening, approved 11 transfers and postings in the police department, an official spokesman said here today.
Hemant Kumar Lohia (IPS), IGP, Director, SSG, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Technical Services, against an available vacancy, he said.
Mukesh Singh (IPS), IGP, awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as IGP, Human Rights, in place of Kamal Kumar Saini (IPS), IGP, who is due to retire on superannuation on February 28, he said, adding the officer shall take over charge in the afternoon of February 28.
Sunil Kumar (IPS), IGP, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as IGP Armed/IR, Kashmir against an available vacancy.
Danesh Rana (IPS), IGP, awaiting orders of adjustment has been posted as Director, SKPA, Udhampur, relieving Parminder Singh (IPS), Joint Director, SKPA, Udhampur, of the additional charge of the post.
Ashok Kumar Atri (IPS), DIG, Homeguards, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, against an available vacancy, the spokesman said.
Parminder Singh (IPS), DIG, Joint Director, SKPA, Udhampur, has been transferred and posted as Director, SSG, J&K, vice Hemant Kumar Lohia.
B K Rath (IPS), DIG, awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as DIG, Homeguards, Jammu, vice Ashok Kumar Atri. Ghulam Hassan Bhat (IPS), DIG, awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as DIG North Kashmir, Baramulla.
Syed Kifayat Haider (IPS), DIG, awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as DIG, CID, Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
Zubair Ahmad Khan, SP, Baramulla, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, IR, 6th battalion, against an available vacancy.
Suhail Munawar Mir, SP, PCR, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as SP, Baramulla, vice Zubair Ahmad Khan.
