Bureau (NCB) of Patna today seized 1100 kg ganja worth Rs 1.10 crore from a toll plaza near Mahatma Gandhi setu in Bihar's Vaishali district.
Two persons were also arrested from the spot under Ganga bridge police station on the charge of possessing the ganja in a truck, NCB Inspector T N Singh said.
Acting on a tip off, the NCB team intercepted a truck at the toll plaza near the bridge on Hajipur side and recovered the drug that was being brought from Tripura.
The ganja was kept in 75 packets which were hidden in the walls of the truck's cabin, he said.
