The bus was ferrying the children to school when it was hit by the truck coming from Modipuram side near Jatoli flyover, a police spokesperson said.
The injured were admitted to a local hospital, the spokesperson said, adding that the condition of three children is serious.
The driver of the truck is absconding and a search has been launched to trace him.
