"Thirteen new patients have tested positive for H1N1 in the last 24 hours and the total number of infected persons has reached to 109," Medical Superintendent, SKIMS, Dr Farooq Jan, told PTI.
Dr Jan said no new death of the patients suffering from swine flu had occurred during the last two days.
"There are no reports of any new death due to H1N1 infection and the toll stands at four," he said.
"At present seven patients positive for H1N1 are admitted at SKIMS, out of them only one is on ventilator," he said.
The Medical Superintendent said six swine flu patients who were admitted in the isolation ward of the hospital have been discharged today.
"They were discharged today and we are hopeful of discharging six more in a day or two," he said.
Dr Jan said 50 samples were tested today out of 283 patients who had turned up with respiratory symptoms at the special OPD of the hospital.
