According to Dundigal police, the boys forcibly took the victim near an isolated place, when she was going home last evening and allegedly raped her there.
Following a complaint, a case was registered under the Nirbhaya Act, they said adding a hunt has been launched to nab the accused and further investigation was underway to ascertain if one more person was involved in the crime.
Meanwhile, in a separate case, an intermediate first-year student was allegedly raped by two teenagers (aged around 17) with the assistance of one man at Bonguluru Gate under Vanasthalipuram police station limits here on December 21.
"No one has been arrested so far as the accused were absconding," he added.
