131 vacant posts in Himachal Pradesh University will be filled soon: V-C

As many as 131 vacant posts of teachers will be filled in the Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) soon, its Vice Chancellor Sikander Kumar said Tuesday.

A case regarding recruitment in the university is pending in the Supreme Court. The vacant posts will be filled after the verdict is pronounced, Kumar said.

The V-C told PTI that sanction for filling the 131 vacant posts of teaching staff has already been taken from the executive council and the process of filling these posts will be initiated soon after the verdict.
