14 construction site workers injured in wall collapse

At least 14 construction site workers were injured in a wall collapse at around noon, the district police said here today.
Rural police headquarters said that a wall collapsed on workers.
While one of them is reported to be serious, others havd been admitted to the Golden Nest hospital and being treated.
The accident took place at Waliv.
Local MLA Vivek Pandit expressed serious concern over unauthorised constructions in Waliv with the connivance of Vasai-Virar civic officials and local political goons.
He said that the areas has become a haven for unauthorised constructions and he wanted such activities checked.
