Aryan Manshare, a class VIII student at the Navodaya Vidyalaya took the extreme step yesterday and was found hanging from the bathroom's door by one his classmates after which he alerted the principal and other staffers, Superintendent of Police, Khargone, D Kalyan Chakravarty said.
He was rushed to Sanawad Civil Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The senior official ruled out any pressure due to studies behind the suicide but added that police is probing the matter in detail.
However, his father Santosh Manshare claimed that his son could never end his life.
The boy belonged to Sulgaon village in Khargone district.
A case has been lodged at Sanawad police station which is probing the incident, the SP said.
