The body of the 15-year-old boy was found on a road in the village this morning, SHO Mandhata police station Nishikant Rai said.
The boy was a student of Madrasa Noorul Uloom and had taken a leave from school to visit his relatives, yesterday.
The postmortem report has confirmed that the victim was sodomised, the SHO said, adding that one person has been detained after lodging an FIR in connection with the case.
