168 child labourers rescued
Press Trust of India Bharatpur At least 168 children in the age group of eight to 14 years, who were being trafficked to West Bengal and Bihar were rescued from a train here.
"Following a tip-off, a search was started at railway station here yesterday and 168 children, who were earlier engaged in labourer work in bangle factories near Jaipur rescued," a railway police official today said.
"39 persons were detained in this regard so far," they said, adding, the children were shifted to a rehabilitation centre.
