The 18 - 15 male and two female supporters of All Bengal Chit Fund Depositors and Sufferers' Forum - were arrested at around 3 PM for staging protests before the state Assembly, he said.
The supporters, mostly those who lost funds depositing in the Saradha Scam, were demanding "justice", he added.
"All of them were arrested by the Hare Street Police Station and then brought at the Central Lock up in Lalbazar.
