17 taken into custody for selling IPL tickets in black

17 persons were taken into custody for allegedly selling tickets in black of this season's first IPL match played here, police said today.
The first game of the 10th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was played yesterday between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
"During the inaugural match of 10th edition of IPL, raids were conducted at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. 17 persons were taken in custody for selling the tickets in black," said Special Operation Team (Rachakonda Police Commissionerate) Inspector K Narsing Rao.
"43 tickets and Rs 43,640 in cash were seized from their possession. Further probe is on," the official said.
