19-year-old youth held in connection with robbery cases

A 19-year-old youth was today arrested in connection with gold chain snatching and robbery cases in Thiruvananthapuram and Kanyakumari district in neighbouring Tamil Nadu, police said.
He was wanted in 13 gold chain snatching cases in both states, police said.
As many as 22 sovereigns of gold was also recovered from him, they said.
He was held while travelling along with his 21-year-old brother on a motorcycle with fake number plate at Anchalikode, they said.
The brother was absconding and search is on to nab him, police added.
