2.5 kg charas seized, one held

SSB jawans today seized 2.5 kg charas and arrested one person in this connection from Raxaul railway station in Bihar's East Champaran district, an official said.
Acting on a tip off, the SSB jawans nabbed one Nandlal Bhagat with the contraband worth about Rs 25 lakh while he was awaiting a train for Sitamarhi, 13th battalion SSB Assistant Commandant Amit Kumar said.
Bhagat, a native of Musahri village had brought the proscribed contraband substance from Nepal for delivery to a client in Sitamarhi district, he said.
