The two youths are identified as Imran and Akram, said Gautam Jain, SHO, Udaimandir, adding, Rs 17,61,500 was recovered from their possession which they had stolen from the ATM of the Axis bank here.
Imran was the employee of the company entrusted with the task of refilling the cash at the ATM and had got an access to the password required to open the cash tray, he said.
The two had inserted the cash in the ATM on Wednesday and somehow got an access to the password, he said.
