2 bodies found at separate places in Kashmir

Two unidentified persons, including a woman, were found dead at separate places in Kulgam and Ganderbal districts of Kashmir Valley.
Body of a woman was found near Zadoora crossing in Qazigund area, 80 kms from here, on Srinagar-Jammu national highway last night, a police spokesman said today.
He said the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately and efforts are on to identify her.
The body was handed over to the Auqaf Committee Bomthan for last rites after completion of legal formalities, the spokesman said.
He said police also fished out the body of a person from water treatment plant at Rangil in Ganderbal district of central Kashmir.

The deceased is about 35 years of age and efforts are on to identify him, the spokesman said.
He said police has started inquest proceedings in both the cases.
