Two people were booked for allegedly threatening a policeman during a panchayat, police said today.
Anees and his son Shahnawaz threatened Circle Officer Ramanand Kushwaha last night during a panchayat in Baraut area, accusing him of being involved in his another son's death.
Shakib's body was recovered from a drain here on May 6.
"The aggrieved party can convey its point of view in a constitutional manner, but giving open threats to a policeman amounts to criminal act. A case has been registered against Anees and his son Shahnawaz," Superintendent of Police Jaiprakash.
