2 boys drown in pit, dies
drowned after falling into a water-filled pit dug up for the construction work in Champhai district, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when both of them were playing. They have been identified as Joseph Lalchhuanawma and Lalhmangaihtluanga, they said.
The two boys were rushed to the Champhai district hospital where they were declared brought dead.
