Two private buses caught fire near a petrol pump in Dholpur district of Rajasthan today.

However, a major tragedy was averted as fire fighters promptly extinguished the blaze before it could spread to the petrol pump.

No one was injured in the fire.

The fire took place in the town area where the buses which were parked very close to the petrol pump caught fire after a high-voltage electricity wire fell on them, Dholpur Sadar police station SHO Satish Kumar said.
