2 child traffickers arrested

Two persons were arrested when the Bengal police busted an inter-state racket of child traffickers and rescued 15 children from Mal block in Jalpaiguri district, a district police officer said today.
The duo, arrested from Motihari in Bihar, were brought to Jalpaiguri and remanded to police custody by a local court today.
The police officer said the 15 children included seven girls.
Yhey were rescued during a recent raid by a combined team of Bengal police, SSB and an NGO from Odlabari in Jalpaiguri with the whole operation assisted by Bihar police, he said.
