The expo is organised as part of the Independence Day celebrations by the Indian Army under 'Know Your Army' outreach, with an objective to enable it to share information about current and future technology, product demand with Indian industry and seek industry response on it.
Deputy Chief of Army, Lt Gen Subrata Saha, will inaugurate the Exhibition, being organised in association with local chapter of CII and Young Indians.
Saha will interact with Industry members, faculty and students from engineering colleges on the requirements of the Army, the areas of improvement in the displayed equipment and seek their inputs, a CII release said today.
