2 dead, 1 injured in under-construction building collapse

Two labourers were buried alive and another was seriously injured when the roof of a two-storeyed under-construction building collapsed in Narnaund village here, police said today.
The incident happened yesterday when the roof of the second floor collapsed allegedly due to sub-standard material used in the construction, police said.
While people in the area the locals pulled out the bodies of the two labourers from the rubble, they managed to rescue the third labourer trapped under the debris.
Shrawan received serious injuries and was admitted in a hospital, where his condition is stated to be stable, they said.
The deceased were identified as Ram Chander (45) and Bijender Singh (32), both residents of Moth Karnail village in Hisar district.

The owner of the house has been identified as one Narender and a case has been registered against him under sections 337 (causing hurt by an act which dangers human life) and 304A (causing death by negligent act) of IPC, police said.
