During a routine check, police stopped two persons near railway station on Vijay Nagar side. Police recovered 25 kgs of Ganja worth Rs 2 lakh from them, SHO Surender Yadav said.
The peddlers were identified as Sattar Ali and Sanjeev Kumar. During interrogation, the accused said they procured the contraband from Odisha and were going to sell it in Ghaziabad, he said.
An FIR has been registered against them under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act (NDPS). The duo has been sent to jail, the officer added.
