Police claimed to have solved two robbery and six theft cases with the arrest of the five accused.
"We got information that three members of a gang, identified as Amit, Rajesh and Ajay, would come towards Nasir Pur village yesterday and laid a trap to arrest them. A stolen bike has been recovered from their possession," said a senior police officer.
Thereafter, upon questioning, the accused told police that another gang of robbers was also active in the same area.
"Acting on the information, another gang of robbers was also busted yesterday with the arrest of two of its members, identified as Aman Kumar and Rakesh Notiyal.
The five accused are all residents of Delhi and aged between 21 and 26 years, police said.
