2 held for killing farmer

Two persons have been arrested for allegedly killing a farmer in Morta village here last month, police said today.
The two accused, who were looking for admission in civil engineering at HRIT institute in Morta area, came in contact with farmer Ram Kishore who lured them on the pretext of getting their problems solved through occult arts, Deputy Superintendent of police (Muradnagar) Pawan kumar said.
On 25 July, Kishore tried to sodomise one of them. Sensing his illegal advances, the youths stabbed him to death, the DSP said.
The accused were nabbed with the help of electronic surveillance, the officer added.
