Two Indian drug peddlers have been arrested near here, police said.
The duo identified as Karan Sahni, 55, and Sabir Ali, 29, are residents of Champaran in Bihar, they said.
The two, who were transporting the drugs in their car, were arrested on Thursday from Thankot in Chandragiri area, 10 km west of Kathmandu, during a security check by a special team of Nepal Police.
The drugs were hidden in a bag inside the car, police said, adding that 695 ampoules of diazepam, 696 ampoules of morphine and 495 ampoules of Phenergan were seized from the duo's possession.
