2 injured in IED blast in Imphal

Two persons, including a two-year-old girl, were injured in a medium intensity IED blast at Imphal town today, the police said.
The injured were a CRPF head constable, identified as 48-year-old SM Naik from Jharkhand and L Manganleima Chanu, a senior police officer said.
The blast occurred at around 5.30 PM in the vicinity of Manipur State Museum at the centre of the state capital.
The CRPF officer sustained minor injuries on his right left thigh, while the minor girl sustained injuries on her right neck, added the officer.
