2 killed in China landslide

At least two persons were killed and another injured in a landslide at an open pit coal mine in north China's Shanxi Province today.
The accident took place in Jiaokou County of Luliang City, local officials said.
Several excavators have been buried underneath earth, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
The number of people buried is not known. Rescue work is under way, the report said.
