Kamlesh and her daughter Gopika (2) were riding pillion on a motorcycle which hit an open door of a stationary truck. The woman's husband lost control over the bike and the three fell down.
A speeding truck coming from the rear side ran over Kamlesh and her daughter. They died on the spot, police said.
The woman's husband, however, escaped unhurt. The driver of the truck, which crushed the two, fled the spot while the driver of the other has been taken into custody, they said.
