Raza Rabbani of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Zahid Khan of Awami National Party received the letters, senior PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan told media. Ahsan claimed the letters were written by a Musharraf supporter.
He said copies of these letters will be provided to authorities and he will seek a thorough investigation into the matter.
In April, Rabbani and Khan - along with other lawmakers - had called for Musharraf to be tried for abrogating the Constitution and derailing democracy by imposing emergency in 2007.
