2 patients die in Alwar hospitals

Two patients have died in private hospitals in Alwar after their condition deteriorated following blood transfusions.
The blood was supplied to the private hospitals from a charitable trust.
Condition of the patients, a man and a woman, admitted in separate hospitals deteriorated after they received blood transfusion over the last two days, said Alwar CM&HO Pankaj Kumar.
It is suspected that blood was infected and a committee of four doctors has been formed to probe the matter, he said.
