2 persons held with 125 kgs of banned herb in Doda

Two persons have been arrested for allegedly carrying banned rare medicinal herb, Nag Chatri, from Doda district here and 125 kgs of the herb recovered from them, police said today.
During a routine check yesterday at Khellani, police intercepted one swift car which was on its way to Doda and recovered the banned medicinal herb from Baba Ram from Bishnah town and Antosh Kumar from Bari Brahmna town here, they said.
A case has been registered against the accused persons, they said adding, a probe into the matter is on.
