2 persons in Rameswaram affected by dengue

: Two persons in Rameswaram island had been affected by dengue and admitted to a private hospital, public health department officials said.
They said that steps were taken to clean areas around Thangachi Madam, Muslim theru and Rajiv gandhi nagar where many people had been affected by viral fever.
The doctors in Mobile clinics were visiting the affected areas to treat the affected people, they said.
The Joint director of Public health Bhavani umadevi said only two cases of dengue had been reported and steps were being taken to clean the areas where dengue had been reported.
