2 soldiers killed in bomb attack northwestern Pakistan

Two Pakistani soldiers were killed today in a bomb attack in troubled northwestern tribal region, bordering Afghanistan.
The improvised explosive device exploded in Ghulam Khan area near Afghan border, the military said in a statement.
Two soldiers were killed in the attack, it added.
Army launched military operation in the area last month to eliminate safe havens of local and foreign militants.
So far, more than 450 militants and 26 soldiers have been killed in the fighting.
