2 taxis burnt down by unidentified persons in Parimpora

Two taxis were today set on fire allegedly by some unidentified persons for not following the shut down call given by the separatists in Parimpora area of the city, police said.
A group of unidentified men stopped the two taxis at Parimpora on Baramulla-Srinagar highway and asked the passengers to alight before setting the vehicles on fire, a police official said.
The vehicles were completely damaged in the incident, he said, adding police has taken cognisance of the incident and started the probe.
