2 women assaulted for resisting rape attempt in separate

Two married women were allegedly assaulted in separate incidents here after they resisted 'rape' attempt on them, police said today.
A woman was allegedly assaulted by one Megh Singh at Lohakhar village under Kotwali Bagwala on Sunday, they said.
The man allegedly attempted rape on the woman when she was working in her field. When she resisted, he beat her up and also threatened to kill her, they said.
In another incident at Unchagaon village under Kotwali Jalesar, a woman was allegedly assaulted by one Guddoo and three other persons of the same village when she resisted an alleged rape attempt on her, police said.

Two separate FIRs have been filed in the two cases but no arrests have been made so far, they said.
