2 women killed as van plunges into well

Two women were killed when a van in which they were travelling plunged into a roadside well at N.Pudupatti near here today.
The occupants of the van were proceeding to Salem from Thanjavur when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it fell into the 70-feet deep well.
Two women died while a few others were recused by fire and rescue service personnel and local villagers, police said.
