Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Gurmeet Singh (21) and Dilbagh Singh (20) from Civil Lines on Tuesday and recovered a laptop, three stolen mobile phones, a motorbike and Rs 5,000 cash from their possession, DCP (North East) Sindhu Pillai said.
He said the youths were drug addicts and belong to well- to-do families.
During interrogation, the duo told police that they have snatched over 30-35 purses in the last three-four months.
They were also arrested last year from Greater Kailash area for stealing a motorcycle but were released on bail.
