2-yr-old girl sexually abused by father
The man, owning a powerloom unit, came home in an inebriated state last evening and allegedly sexually assaulted the girl, following which she fainted, police said.
The girl's mother, who was not at home, saw her lying unconscious when she returned and took her to a private hospital from where, after first aid, the child was shifted to a government hospital, police said.
A case was registered following the mother's complaint, police said, adding, the man is absconding.
