"The government has sanctioned a plan for opening new 20 fast-track courts, which will deal with heinous crimes, including those against women.
"Apart from these, the government will also open 27 fast- track courts in the second phase due to which cases involving crimes against women will be disposed of in just six months," said Tomar.
Food and Civil Supply Minister Asim Ahmed Khan said that in order to provide rations to the people in a time-bound manner, the government has installed Point of Sale (PoS) at 42 fair price shops.
"Government has installed Point of Sale (PoS) at 42 fair price shops in the first phase which aim to provide ration to people in a time-bound manner. We intend to instal PoS at all 2,500 fair price shops in the city.
"Through this system, not even 1 kg of rice can be stolen. Government can also monitor the timing of fair price shops and how much ration was given to a particular person," Khan said.
