The body of Komal Dagar was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her room this afternoon.
The Vice-Chancellor of HAU and police reached the spot on getting information about the incident.
The deceased was residing in Gangotri Hostel of the university.
She belonged to Palwal in Faridabad district and was studying in the university for the last about one year.
Police said a suicide note was found on the spot.
