The FIRs have been registered since October 4, when the model code came into effect with the announcement of the election schedule.
The maximum number of 81 FIRs have been registered against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), followed by 57 against Congress and 56 against BJP, while the remaining cases were registered against other political outfits.
The EC has also registered 67 FIRs against printing presses for not publishing the names and addresses of organisations under the Representation of People Act and other related acts.
Ankur Garg, the chief nodal officer (Model Code of Conduct), said, "Every complaint received by the commission regarding MCC violation is counted. However, it is not necessary that every violation will convert into an FIR."
Taking action against defacement of property, the EC has so far removed 4,874 violations from public properties and 2,373 from private properties.
Delhi's Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Dev said under preventive actions to maintain public order and tranquillity, so far 1,173 actions have been taken under various sections of CrPC.
He added that the overall a peaceful situation prevails in the city and no instance of injuries, violent action, or loss to property or life has been reported.
"The EC will ensure that all electoral process is implemented with firmness and strict compliance. No compromise on enforcement of Model Code of Conduct will be made and it will be ensured that every body submits to those instructions," said Dev.
