Twenty three coal-laden wagons of a goods train derailed due to mechanical problem at around 12.20 PM, Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) of Mughalsarai Division Ashis Kumar said.
No casualty or injury to anyone has been reported in the derailment, he said.
The train service on Gaya-Mughalsarai section has been disrupted due to damage to the track following derailment, he added.
A team of railway engineers from Mughalsarai have been rushed to the spot to repair the track, the DCM said, adding the train service will be restored by tonight.
