The intoxicants seized included 2.98 kgs of powder, 1,800 pills, 15 bottles of syrup, 250 capsules and 19 injections. As much as 21.25 kgs poppy husk, 24,750 ml liquor and 55 grams smack were also recovered from their possession, police said.
25 alleged drug peddlers, including five women, had been arrested yesterday during separate raids in the district.
A case has been registered against the accused in this regard, they said, adding that further investigation into the matter is underway.
