24-year-old man commits suicide

A 24-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his room at Lalkothi police station area here, police said today.
Subrato Das was found hanging from the fan in his room last evening, they said.
"He was taken to SMS hospital where doctors declared him brought dead", Investigating Officer Kailash Kumar said.
Reasons for the suicide are not yet clear. The body has been handed over to family members and the matter is under investigation, he said.
