25 doctors taken ill after consuming pakoras

At least 25 doctors of a government hospital today were taken ill due to suspected food poisoning after consuming pakoras during a picnic in Jhalawar district here.
The group had gone to Mangal Nath ki Doongri and after taking the food they began vomiting and complained of abdomen pain. They were rushed to a hospital where 14 were given primary treatment and are under observation while 11 have been admitted, CMHO Dr Sajid Khan said.
The sample of the food has been collected and investigation is on, SHO, Kotwali Police Station, Harshraj Singh said.
