27 injured in bus accident near Dhanbad

At least 27 persons, including five women and a child, were injured when a bus overturned at Latani, 35 km from here, today.
The incident took place when the bus driver tried to overtake an autorickshaw at about 8 AM, police officials said.
The driver escaped from the spot after the incident.
Twenty two injured persons including five women were admitted to the Patliputra Medical College Hospital. Most of them had received head and leg injuries. However, all of them were out of danger, a hospital official said.
Five critical passengers were taken away by their relatives to other hospitals, police said.
