28-year-old woman murdered

A 28-year-old woman was murdered
allegedly by her husband in Dungar village here, police said today.
Upon receiving information of a suspicious death yesterday, police reached the scene and found the body of the victim, identified as Kavita, bearing knife marks on the neck and chest.
Her husband, Kavindra (32), however in his version to the police claimed that his wife had slipped from the terrace of their house leading to her death.
But, presence of stab wounds on the body's neck and chest raised suspicion about her cause of death, following which Kavindra was taken into custody, police said.

Police said that the victim's family members have been informed and further action would be taken only after their arrival.
The couple were married for four years and have a three-year old son, police said.
