29 Bangladeshis held in 2 days

At least 29 Bangladeshi nationals were arrested during the past two days at Basirhat border in North 24 Parganas district for illegal entry into India, police said today.
24 Bangladeshis were taken into custody on October 11 and five more were held yesterday, police said.
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old Myanmarese national was arrested today from Bangladesh border at Basirhat when he was trying to cross the border to enter the neighbouring country illegally.
During interrogation, Mohammad Aziz said that he used to stay at the Burmese camp at Hyderabad and was going to Bangladesh to meet some relatives, they said.
