2nd Yr college student missing in Malda

A second year science stream student of Malda College was reported missing since June 1 after leaving for examinations from home, a senior police officer said today.
The student Monirul Haque was last seen on June 1 noon and his whereabouts were not known ever since, the officer said quoting the FIR filed by Monirul's mother Sonabhen Bibi on June 2.
Bibi further informed in her FIR at Englishbazar police station that Monirul had called up on June 1 night alleging he was forcibly kept in a mango orchard by some armed men and the line got disconnected after he completed the sentence.

He could not be reached on mobile ever since, the worried mother said in FIR.
The officer said all possible angle were being explored and a team was formed to crack the case.
