The student Monirul Haque was last seen on June 1 noon and his whereabouts were not known ever since, the officer said quoting the FIR filed by Monirul's mother Sonabhen Bibi on June 2.
Bibi further informed in her FIR at Englishbazar police station that Monirul had called up on June 1 night alleging he was forcibly kept in a mango orchard by some armed men and the line got disconnected after he completed the sentence.
The officer said all possible angle were being explored and a team was formed to crack the case.
